Since 1978, Jack and Jill Preschool has been a
educational Christian witness to children from Lehighton and the
surrounding area. This outreach of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church provides a strong background in school preparation along
with Christian teaching from a Lutheran perspective. Opportunities
for prayer and worship are a large part of the Jack and Jill program.
The students participate in weekly worship in Trinity's sanctuary,
led by either Pastor vonFrisch or Mrs. Karen Bizup.
Jack and Jill accepts all children of any race,
color, national or ethnic origin into the preschool. Children can
be registered to attend the preschool if they have had either their
third, fourth or fifth birthday by September 1 of the current school
term. All children attend age appropriate classes. The school term
runs from September through June.
Art, music, educational games, outdoor play opportunities,
holiday parties, new friends and field trips to the community are
also a large part of the preschool experience.
The preschool is located at 230 Iron Street.,
on the Trinity property. The phone number of the preschool is 610-377-6562.
